Now recovered, the latest confirmed SARS patient in Guangdong has refused to leave the hospital.
His discharge is scheduled for today (Thursday). But the Eighth People's Hospital says he's unwilling to face the crowd of journalists who are waiting for him at the gate. It's still uncertain when the patient will leave.
The hospital has announced a press conference this afternoon. Hospital officials and doctors who have treated the patient will answer questions from the media. |
